For over twenty years SportWays has organised field-hockey camps and is official partner of The European Hockey Federation. Every summer more than two thousand hockey players participate in our camps. We only work with The Best of The Best: the newest techniques, (inter-)national top players, the best locations and a very experienced staff. SportWays has organised hockey camps in Spain, England, France, Ireland and the USA. The camps are international: participants and staff are from all over the world. Alongside our well-known hockey camps, SportWays also organises goalie camps together with Martijn Drijver, the goalie trainer of the Spanish national teams. Goalies learn the best skills from top goalies.
 
SportWays Hockey Camps in general: Quality and Experience
SportWays emphasis is on quality, in terms of both our hockey programme and the social events at our camps. Fun & Learning is the main characteristic of all SportWays camps. Years of experience in our organisation and staff are a solid base for success. We work with a staff / participant ratio of 1:4. Each year the training programmes are adapted by Dutch premier league coaches, players and the technical staff of different national teams, to apply with the latest developments in hockey. This way the participants are guaranteed to learn the latest techniques in hockey. When teaching the newest techniques we use the Learning by Experience method, developed and exclusively used by SportWays. We distinguish ourselves by paying maximum attention to the individual player. It is our mission that a SportWays camp should be a special experience for each participant, regardless of his or her level.
Well-known top hockey players and guest coaches
Most top players and coaches exclusively appear in our camps. We have contracted several Olympic Gold Medalists from all around the world, for example Jeroen Delmee, Xanti Freixa, and Guus Vogels.
Unique (sport) locations
All our sports facilities are top class. In Amsterdam we are guests at the national training centre of the Royal Dutch Hockey Association (KNHB); premier league club Amsterdam and Hurley with 4 sand based and 5 water based pitches (including the Wagener stadium). Also we have a camp in the south of Holland. Here we stay and play at MOP in Vught. In Barcelona we use the outstanding facilities of Atlètic Terrassa Hockey Club with a waterpitch, 3 astroturf pitches and extensive sports facilities. For the fourth year in a row we will be guests in Antwerp. We will be staying at the Royal Herakles Hockey Club with a water based pitch and extensive sports facilities which will guarantee you a great hockey experience. In Amsterdam, Vught, Dublin, Antwerp and Barcelona (Summer Camp) we will sleep in professional tents. In Barcelona (EHF Camp) we will sleep in an indoor hall. A professional catering company will prepare all our meals.
Professional coaches
Professional coaches supervise all camps; they are experienced in coaching and managing young hockey players. Most coaches are qualified by the Dutch National Hockey Association and/or an Academy for Physical Education.
Qualified medical staff
A physiotherapist will be present at each camp. We work together with a Sport Medical Centre. SportWays also has made arrangements with a GP, a dentist and a hospital.
Sports-minded
In addition to an intensive hockey programme, participants are introduced to other sports and games such as Uni-hockey, Game Day, the Foam Battle and different Outdoor activities such as a Survival.
Social events
The social staff organises evening programmes full of surprising activities. From playback- and theatre shows to all kinds of original and bizarre events, games and parties. All based on the social theme of that particular camp.

Amsterdam: 6 nights, Antwerp: 6 nights, Barcelona: 7/8 nights, Dublin: 6 nights full board and lodging, SportWays T-shirt from Brunotti, AA water bottle and special discounts on Grays and Dita sticks, OBO legguards, clothing, shoes, etc.
